6.2/10

My stay at Novotel Milton Keynes had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, making it super easy to explore the city, and I enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, I faced a few issues with the reception staff's attitude and the cleanliness of the first room I was given, which left a musty smell. Overall, I found it reasonable for a quick trip, but the service could definitely use some polishing.

Rooms
6.0
The room was large and comfortable with nice blackout curtains and plenty of storage. However, the first room I was given had a musty smell, prompting me to request a room change.
Service
6.0
While I had a great experience with two staff members, Dora and Christian, who were attentive and friendly in the bar area, the reception staff were a bit abrupt and definitely need more customer service training.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a prime spot, making it super easy to get to attractions in the center of MK. I loved how accessible everything was, especially for short visits.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were a mixed bag. The food was reheated and not the best, and I noticed a lack of vegetarian choices, which could be improved.
Facilities
6.0
The small gym was a nice touch, and while the common areas were generally clean, there were some concerns about room cleanliness that affected my overall impression.

5.4/10

My stay at Novotel Milton Keynes was quite mixed. The location was convenient, especially for getting to nearby attractions, but the hotel itself felt run down. The pool area was overcrowded and not very clean, which really detracted from the experience. On a positive note, I did enjoy a decent pizza in the bar and had a comfortable sleep, but overall, I felt it lacked basic standards. I likely won't be returning.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious, but the carpets were dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. I also noticed some maintenance issues, which made me question the overall cleanliness.
Service
5.0
The reception staff seemed distracted, which made check-in quite frustrating. There was little communication about when the pool slots were available and I felt I had to chase for assistance.
Location
6.0
The hotel is conveniently located near Milton Keynes, which is great for traveling to local sights. However, the immediate area made me a bit uncomfortable.
Dining
5.0
While I had a nice pizza in the bar, the breakfast was overpriced and not very diverse. I found the selection limited, particularly for vegetarians like myself.
Facilities
5.0
The pool was a major disappointment. It felt overcrowded and unclean, which left me feeling uneasy about using it during my stay.

7.0/10

My stay at Novotel Milton Keynes was largely positive, with a comfortable atmosphere and clean facilities. The breakfast was particularly good, although I encountered some staff who seemed a bit rushed at times. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but attention to detail and staff responsiveness could be improved.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and tidy, but there was a troubling cobweb and a hole in the ceiling showing dust. The bed was comfortable, contributing to a good night's sleep.
Service
6.0
Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist at check-in. However, the staff at check-out were quite abrupt, and there were moments where the dining service felt rushed.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, just a few miles from Stadium MK and easy access to central Milton Keynes. There were limited options within walking distance for dining.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast offered a great variety and quality, though the dinner service could be more attentive, as there were delays and communication issues.
Facilities
8.0
The leisure facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-maintained. However, the experience could be enhanced with more attention to cleanliness and organization.

7.4/10

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Novotel Milton Keynes. The check-in process was a bit frustrating, with the receptionist not providing much information about the hotel. The room had an outdated feel, but I did appreciate the cleanliness and the comfort of the bed. Unfortunately, the dining options were rather limited, and I found the breakfast offerings to be average. Overall, it’s a decent place for a stopover but could use some updates. 😕

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but felt outdated, with tired decor and small TV. The bed was comfortable, but the overall ambiance was disappointing.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, but there were moments where better guidance on hotel amenities would have improved my experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel is conveniently located near major roads, making it easy to access. However, it's somewhat isolated from shops and local attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast provided a standard selection, but I was disappointed with the limited options, particularly the lack of pastries. Dinner lacked variety as well.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the availability of leisure facilities like the pool, but it was often crowded with children, limiting my use. The gym looked nice.

I had a pretty decent stay at the hotel. The spacious room and comfortable beds were definitely highlights, and I was particularly impressed with the breakfast spread. However, a couple of staff members felt a bit brusque, which took away from the overall experience.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious which allowed me to unwind after a busy day, though it could use a few extra plug sockets. The bed was really comfortable, which helped me sleep like a baby.
Service
7.0
While I had a lovely check-in experience, checkout felt rushed and the brunch service could've been a bit friendlier. Luckily, I did meet Sandra during breakfast, and she was amazing, making everything run so smoothly.
Location
6.0
The hotel wasn't exactly in the center of it all; so if you're looking for a convenient walk to attractions, you might wanna keep this in mind. However, it was close enough for my needs.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast was definitely the star of the show, offering a fantastic variety that catered to everyone's tastes. However, I did notice the evening meal was a bit lackluster, and I felt some items were not as fresh as they could have been.
Facilities
8.0
I enjoyed the leisure facilities, especially the pool, which was a hit with my daughter. The overall cleanliness of the area was up to par, despite some small hiccups in service.
